The Energy Department, Government of Sindh, is responsible for matters relating to the development, generation, supply, and distribution of hydro and thermal power. The Department also determines electricity supply rates for consumers, both in bulk and otherwise, and may prescribe tariffs within the province, except in areas where such authority has been entrusted to WAPDA.
